A note on flying…
There are always plenty of flights to Australia available, and even if your local airport doesn’t have a direct route, you will be able to go via a larger airport like Heathrow, Amsterdam or Los Angeles.
Most international flights to Australia will have a stop off, usually in Asia although there are an increasing number of flights that now have stopoffs in the Middle East.
Most of the cheapest flight prices that you will find will be on flights to Sydney and Melbourne and you might find yourself stopping off at one of these airports first, before taking a domestic flight to Brisbane or Cairns to the end of your journey. It’s not always the case, but it’s just something to prepare for.
